Fab new ranges from Prestigious Textiles. 'Nouveau' jacquards draw upon an extravagant mix of colour and texture, their subtle retro-feel reflected through enticing mid-tone palettes. Included are sateen stripes, leafy motifs, 3-D geometrics and embroidered graphics plus a three-metre voile interwoven with braided detailing. 'Fragrant Harbour' sateen prints conjure up an ambience redolent in grace, with a floral scroll and script, rambling rose trails and coy geishas teaming with a smart stripe and a glorious ikat-effect coordinate. Suitable for curtains, blinds and accessories, all are in palettes ranging from soft and subtle to vibrant and dynamic. 'Funfair' jacquards for domestic upholstery and draperies come in a suite of funky colourways, capturing a truly lively spirit. Bold zigzags, swirling circles and ikat diamonds are interpreted through lustrous weaves enhanced by soft chenille and cheeky iridescent detailing. 'Potting Shed' is a quirky suite of prints which adds a touch of whimsy to kitchens, family rooms, conservatories or alfresco dining. On 100% cotton with an optional PVC finish, the collection features fairytale bucolic scenes, busy florals and coordinating graphics in contemporary colour stories. 'Mode' is a family of glossy jacquards where a luxurious quilted effect is carried across a tactile patchwork, a sensuously curving ogee, a distinctive diamond pattern and graceful oval motifs. A textured cross-stripe and a silky slub plain complete the collection, for which a series of jewel-bright hues has been created. 'Lakota' is derived from the ancient hand-loomed ikat designs woven by indigenous craftsmen for centuries past. The collection comprises stripes, squares and a stepped chevron, all displaying the colour- smudged effect which is the ikat trademark. A supple plain adds the finishing touch. 'Zest' is a series of cotton panama prints where flowing colours and soft outlines imbue the designs with a hand-printed appeal. In piquant palettes, the collection is headed by a contemporary take on a Jacobean 'tree of life', complemented by Moorish ogees, folk-art circles, broad stripes and simple leaf motifs.

NEW PVC CLOTH RANGE

We now have a new range of laminated 100% cotton printed fabrics. Ideal for tablecloths, aprons, shopping bags and more.The PVC coating applied is not too stiff so that the cloth hangs better. Despite this soft drape effect, these cloths are extremely hard wearing. They are strong enough to cut a hole or a cross in them (without the need for edging) for instance for a parasol. They can then be cut as squares, rectangles, ovals and rounds with no sewing needed. Check the PVC page on the website to view the range.
